This is a traditional Argentinian alfajor (pronounced “alpha whore” - ya, I giggled too). It’s two sugar cookies surrounding a giant’s portion of dulce de leche - “candy made from milk”, almost the consistency of caramel. Delicious.
Visited Notting Hill with Guillemette — a friend I met in New York almost five years ago — and her friend. This album includes many pictures of Londonites and tourists because I was in very highly trafficked areas (and in my opinion, people make the most interesting pictures anyway). Also includes some of Westminster Abbey.
The Wicklow Mountains is an area south of Dublin with beautiful views, and in the summer time, is covered in purple shrubbery. The main image above is a picture of Guinness Lake and the Guinness Estate - the lake is so named because its color resembles a spilt pint of Guinness. Glendalough is an old monastery and graveyard, once very prominent, but has since been ransacked by the English.
